T. Patterson Surfboards was founded in 1980 by surfboard shaper Tim Patterson. He is the second generation of his family of shapers, his father, Ronald Patterson, and his uncles, Robert and Raymond Patterson, have been involved in the surf industry since its inception in the 1950s.
Before opening his own company, he started working at Hobie Surfboards in Dana Point, California. There he was involved in all manufacturing processes, from sanding to airbrushing.
At T. Patterson Surfboards, Tim continues to apply his knowledge and skills to constantly research, design and create better surfboards. He also spends a lot of time in the water making sure his designs give surfers the speed and responsiveness we all crave.
In recent years, Patterson surfboards has been expanding its business globally. You'll find Timmy Patterson surfboards all over the world, Patterson Surfboards is working with the best surfers from around the world to create the best possible board for every type of wave and every type of surf.
