What is a bodyboard?

It is a board derived from surfing, but smaller, at navel height and used with bodyboard swimfins mainly to carry out maneuvers both on the wave and in the air.

What bodyboard should I buy?

You must choose one that is useful for your weight, height, level and what type of water you surf. If it is in cold water, we would recommend a PE or NRG bodyboard. If you are in more temperate or hot places, a PP material bodyboard will be better .

Write us if you have any questions and we will help you in your decision.

What size bodyboard should I choose?

The size of your bodyboard depends mainly on your weight and height, but your level also influences.

In general, the bodyboard board reaches your navel height.

If you are just starting out, it is recommended that you go 1-2 fingers above and if you already have a good level, you can go 1 finger below.

It will also depend on the size with which each one feels comfortable according to the waves that they surf. For example, in small waves, you want to have a little more board.

What are bodyboards made of?

There are three materials from which a bodyboard board is made, they are Polypropylene or PP, Polyethylene or PE and Polystyrene or EPS

PP bodyboards are stiffer and faster, but you need a higher level to have good control over your board. They are also higher in price due to their greater durability.

The EPS is mainly intended for initiation or beginner bodyboards.
