The squeegee is a plastic spatula used to distribute the resin over the fiberglass cloth.
Being soft and flexible, the squeegee fits curves without damaging the foam. It can be cleaned with solvent.
It's a very specific tool, but available on our online store, in 90cm, 15cm, 18 and 22,5cm.
The electric toothbrush is the tool that will allow you to shape the foam, as it permit removing a lot of foam quickly.
You'll find it in any hardware store, from 40€.
If you choose the option pre-shape with your foam, you will not need it.
Surfoam allows you to sand the wood stringer in the nose area, on the deck side, an area that the electric toothbrush cannot reach.
It´s also very useful to shape the rail and the concave of your surfboards, you will find it in any good hardware stores.
You will need it for the final sanding of the foam, to make the foam perfectly smooth.
The rotary sander allows you to sand the board after the gel coat, to obtain a smooth appearance.
Sanding discs are used with the rotary sander, you will need grains 80, 120, 180, 240, 360 and 500.
You will find sanding discs in any hardware store, but we recommend using special sanding discs for resin, such as Mirka Q-Silver, 10 times more durable, without letting any dust on the board.
Polishing discs will allow you to achieve a shiny look. They are foam-based discs, and with a very fine grain, from 1000 to 2000.
Mounted on an electric drill, the wooden crown will allow you to open holes to insert fins and leash plugs.
With a dispenser, you can measure accurately and comfortably the waxing styrene and the catalyst.
It is not essential if you do a one surfboard per year, but very useful if you start a production. You will find it in our online surf shop.
