The Soul Zero II retains all the elements of the Zero range, with a low rocker that allows it to glide like a dream. It also features a slight increase in rocker in the nose, making it ideal for quick direction changes in the more curved sections of the wave, especially on smaller surf days.
As for its design, one of the main changes is in its simple concave with a swallow tail, making it very versatile in more powerful sections without losing maneuverability. This is also due to its central line of rocker, which is one of the recognized characteristics of the Zero range.
The board has a generous volume distribution throughout the deck and ends in a slightly tapered edge, giving it the ability to forgive mistakes while also providing sensitivity and directional control, which are vital qualities for surfing small, hollow waves.
