The Channel Island Ci Mid Twin surfboard is an evolution of the CI Mid, as the latter is in a 2+1 configuration, and in the Mid Twin, they have adjusted the placement of the fins to make it a twin, adding adjustments to both the tail curvature and overall dimensions with a bit more width and thickness. This allows you to ride it up to 4` shorter than the original Mid without losing performance.
PU Construction:
Channel Island surfboards are made by Al Merrick in the Olatu factory, in the Basque country. Olatu owns the brand Pukas and builds for two big ones: Lost and Al Merrick. Polyurethane foam core, Silmar polyester resin and Hexcel fiberglass. Great finishing and exceptional expertise.
