The NMD XXV Ben Player Quantum PP 3DC Crescent bodyboard is the limited edition pro model by Ben Player, created to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary. A straight, narrow board, designed to get into the tube and attack the lip of the wave.
It features the WiFly Deep V Tail, a more extreme version of the WiFly tail, with the tips closer to the edges, longer and more voluminous to give the tail more surface area. This is why you should choose it half an inch longer than your usual bodyboard.
The Quad Concave bottom generates more speed, particularly on the exit from the bottom turn. The water flow speeds up and is directed toward the tail of the board. It is shaped by CNC control to ensure the perfect reproduction of the original design. This creates lift through the tail, providing a lot of speed and allowing quicker release in turns without sacrificing control.
The PFS-T construction includes two layers of high-density foam on each side of the central stringer, providing greater reactivity and projection to the board. They align with the hand, the elbow, and the hip, optimizing the dynamic load and enhancing flexion rebound and projection.
The deck introduces a new concept: 3DC, 3D contours, cut by CNC control, to offer the maximum ergonomics.
