The Dumpster Diver 2 is a modern evolution of the original Dumpster Diver surfboard, a longer and updated version. The first Dumpster Diver was designed by Al Merrick with the idea of having a short and compact board for a trip. They realized during a competition at Lowers Trestle that it was also perfect for competing in small waves.
The Dumpster Diver 2 is now designed by Britt Merrick, introducing small changes in the tail and outline, while maintaining the rocker and concaves.
