The Channel Island Twin Pin surfboard is designed as an all-terrain board, suitable for small and dull waves as well as double and giant walls.
From the nose to the back, the board has a flat bottom, followed by a slight rail and a "V" at the rear half, which creates a smooth yet responsive and solid board. The edges are low, so most people use the Twin Pin with a thickness of at least 1/8" more than their shortboard.
PU Construction:
Channel Island surfboards are made by Al Merrick in the Olatu factory, in the Basque country. Olatu owns the brand Pukas and builds for two big ones: Lost and Al Merrick. Polyurethane foam core, Silmar polyester resin and Hexcel fiberglass. Great finishing and exceptional expertise.
