It´s super important to repair the slick of your bodyboard so you do not let the water infiltrate the core of the bodyboard. It is very simple and economical to do, and in this article we will show you how to make it.
We will need a sponge rez tube, a glue specially designed to fix the bodyboards, and a sticker. With the sponge rez, we will seal the hole, so that the water can not enter inside the bodyboard. For this, it is important that your clean and dry your bodyboard. Remove all traces of surf wax, sand, or any kind of dirt. Apply the sponge rez in the area to be repaired, you can use a plastic card or a piece of cardboard to extend the sponge rez and smooth it.
After a fifteen minutes, you will see how the sponge rez begins to harden, after 2 hours you will see it completely hard, but it is necessary to wait 24 hours so that it is 100% hard. You will see how it forms an elastic layer, which holds well the deformations of our body boards.
Apply a sticker on the repaired area, not only for aesthetics, but also to protect the repair, and prevent the sponge rez from taking off.
