The Firewire Sweet Potato surfboard is now available with the new Volcanic construction, which introduces a new basalt fiber made from volcanic stone powder. It is designed to make the most of small and flat waves. It's a very wide board with plenty of volume, providing stability and easy paddling.

Being a short board with a swallow tail, it's very easy to maneuver for making turns and more radical surfing.

In essence, the Firewire Sweet Potato surfboard is perfect for days when the waves are lackluster and we need to maximize each wave.

Volcanic Epoxy Construction:

The Volcanic construction uses basalt fibers extruded from crushed and melted volcanic rocks. These fibers have characteristics similar to carbon in terms of strength and weight, but they are more environmentally friendly as they are of organic origin. Basalt fiber is resistant to chemicals and is used in the manufacturing of surfboards, as well as in the aerospace industry for rockets and jet engines. It has higher resistance to high temperatures and greater elasticity than traditional carbon fiber.
